Join ADM Design Inc., a dynamic company specializing in interior design, renovations, and decor. We are looking for a Retail & Operations Coordinator to enhance our team. This role involves managing retail operations, supporting shipping and receiving processes, and showcasing our products through home staging. Additionally, you will play a key role in elevating our social media presence.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Verify and inspect incoming shipments; address any discrepancies or damages.
- Package and deliver orders efficiently using company vehicles.
- Oversee daily retail operations, including merchandising, stock organization, and customer service.
- Manage inventory, conducting regular counts and maintaining accurate records in the POS system.
- Provide exceptional support to customers and potential clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Organize and display products in the showroom, contributing to a visually appealing environment.
- Engage in home staging activities, creating attractive setups that highlight our offerings.
- Perform cleaning duties at job sites to ensure a tidy and professional appearance.
- Assist with social media content creation and management to boost brand visibility and engagement.
- Help coordinate and participate in events and markets to promote our products and engage with customers and potential clients.
- Safely operate company vehicles and maintain organized workspaces.
- Collaborate with the operations team to meet delivery timelines and track shipments.
- Process returns in the POS system with accuracy and efficiency.
- Complete additional tasks as required, demonstrating initiative and professionalism.
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to lift items 70+ pounds, such as the other end of a couch, and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory management and social media platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- 3+ years of experience in shipping/receiving.
- 3+ years in a retail or customer service role, ideally with store management experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems and QuickBooks is a plus.
- Knowledge of home staging principles and social media marketing is an asset.
