**About the Firm**

Heer Law specializes in providing intellectual property law, intellectual property litigation, patent agent and trademark agent services. We are an established intellectual property law firm located in downtown Toronto. The firm has experienced strong annual revenue growth over the past 4 years and anticipates that the firm will again double over the next 3 years.

**The Role**

**Responsibilities**
- Preparing trademark clearance and registrability opinions
- Conducting in-person and telephone consultations regarding intellectual property issues
- Involvement in the firm's marketing activities

**Qualifications**
- Licensed to practice as a lawyer in Ontario
- 1 to 4 years of pre-call (summer/articling ) and post-call experience
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Engineering or Science, preferably Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other degree including computer-related courses
- Registration as a Patent Agent in Canada and/or the United States and/or Registration as a Trademark Agent in Canada is an asset
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Willingness to participate in the firm's marketing activities
- Good work ethic, positive mindset and a team player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
