Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects - Flat Roofing, Commercial Cladding, Doors, and Windows
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope
- Utilize estimating software and tools to prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns
- Identify and evaluate cost-saving opportunities
- Participate in bid meetings
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation
- Attend site visits and take measurements
- Work closely with other individuals in the organization to obtain, review, and support the commitments required for the cost estimates.
- Assist and support project management to ensure continuity between tender, construction, and project completion.
- Assist in preparing quotes/pricing for tender submission.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to read, understand and explain architectural plans, construction drawings and tender documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills.
- Stress Management skill and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work flexible hours that are determined on an ongoing basis.
- Exceptional Organizational and Communication skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Requires an agreeable personality with a strong sense of being part of a team.
- Must possess a professional manner in both written and verbal communication.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- AutoCAD (an asset)
