**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial and industrial interior and building construction projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to understand project scope and requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze costs, materials, labor, and time requirements to develop reliable project budgets.
- Work closely with project managers and clients to refine estimates and address any changes to project scope or specifications.
- Provide technical support to sales team during proposal presentations, bid/scope review meetings to help close projects
- Create preliminary project schedules as needed for project submissions
- Prepare bid proposals and ensure all documentation is complete and submitted on time.
- Conduct site visits as necessary to gather information and assess project conditions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, material costs, and construction best practices.
- Review public bidding platforms, review, select, estimate and submit open public tenders/prequalification opportunities

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years of Canadian commercial estimating experience, specifically in commercial and industrial interior and building construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proficiency with estimating software, scheduling software (MS Projects, etc.) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of construction material costs and manufacturers/suppliers
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimating projects simultaneously.
- Professional designation or certification in estimating or a related field is a plus.
