We are looking for one CGSB NDT Radiographic Technician, Level 2, to join our team. We have in-house and field work opportunities. Unionized work environment. The wage can vary based on Union classification of number and types of certificates
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects
- Establish NDT techniques and calibration standards
- Set up and operate radiographic equipment
- Develop and interpret radiographic film
- Calibrate, test and interpret ultrasonic equipment
- Set up, calibrate, operate and interpret magnetic particle, eddy current, liquid penetrant, acoustic emission, and infrared thermographic equipment
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
- Instruct and supervise trainees
- Maintain test result reports
- Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports
- Provide hands-on technical support for equipment setup, operation and troubleshooting.
- Develop processes and procedures.
- Enforce and abide by the requirements of safe operation and personal safety using required Personal Protective Equipment and safe work practices
- Mentor and train coworkers assigned to you through on-the-job training in safe work practices, technical skills and compliance with company policies
- Gather and escalate client concerns to leadership when needed

**Education**
- College/CEGEP
- or equivalent experience
**Experience**
- two years to less than three years in Non-Destructive testing (**casting experience**)
- Knowledge of NDT equipment and ability to effectively perform assigned NDT inspections.
- Technical background in NDT methods and procedures and knowledge of NDT equipment
**Credentials**
- CGSB Level 2 Certification in RT
- Other certificates will be considered an asset

Pay: $50.21-$53.46 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
