**Position Overview**:
**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the **Treasury Analyst**include:
**Cash Management**
- Monitor and manage daily cash balances to ensure liquidity across all accounts
- Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts, analyzing variances and making recommendations
- Execute and validate fund transfers, ensuring proper documentation and compliance
- Execute bank drafts and supporting documentation on Letter of Credits

**Banking and Financial Transactions/ Risk Management Support**
- Support the management of banking relationships, including account maintenance and issue resolution
- Process and record payments, including wires, EFTs, and intercompany transfers if applicable
- Completion of Journal Entries, daily, weekly, monthly
- Reviewing posted bank transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Balance sheet reconciliation where applicable within the treasury department
- Support management with ad hoc financial analysis to inform decision-making
- Monitor and report on foreign exchange (FX) exposures, providing recommendations to mitigate risk

**Compliance and Controls**
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements in all treasury activities
- Maintain accurate documentation to support audits and compliance reviews
- Assist in the development and documentation of treasury policies and procedures

**System and Process Optimization**
- Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of treasury management systems
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- ** Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- ** Experience**:

- 2-5 years of experience in treasury, accounting, or other financial roles
- Familiarity with payment processing, banking transactions, or accounts payable/receivable processes is an asset
- Knowledge of financial reporting and general ledger systems is essential
- ** Skills & Abilities**:

- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management and reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and treasury management systems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying financial concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
