We are currently seeking a Shipper to join our Shipping & Transportation Team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

**SHIFT: Tuesday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM**

- Hands-on practical experience using various equipment such as cranes, - pneumatic hand tools, and saws
- How to build and support the overall production of premium windows and doors for our customers

**DUTIES**:

- Work as a member of a team with department leadership to run an effective, efficient department
- Provide motivation and direction to the shipping team and ensure their safety and well-being
- Inspect units prior to being received, ensuring that units meet quality, packaging and height restrictions and standards
- Scan units prior to storage or loading and insure units are stored and loaded into appropriate bin or van
- Physically transport units to and from the allocated bin
- Ensure units are stored and loaded into the bin or van in the proper order and ensure on
- time completion of the loads
- Train new staff
- Complete regular dock audits
- Build crates for glass and windows
- Flex and cross train as required by leadership
- Other duties as assigned

**THE SKILLS WE LOOK FOR**:

- Effective interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Strong focus on safety, quality and precision details
- Ability to frequently lift up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Experience in manufacturing, wood working, carpentry is an asset
- Punctuality and team commitment
