The right applicant is a positive person who is willing to learn. We offer a comprehensive training program to learn barista skills and grow with our company. The Colombian is a specialty coffee roaster that sources, roasts, and brews coffee that our guests can feel great about drinking. We focus on paying coffee farmers consistenlty profitable prices. We want to represent in Edmonton the high quality product our farmers are producing in Colombia. The right applicant will:

- Be positive, hardworking, and coachable. Approach their work with a humble confidence, and will look to expand their skills by investing time in a growing local business
- Provide a high level of customer service with the company values as the guiding principles
- Process orders, receive payments and perform daily cash out procedures
- Sell coffee and brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; preparing and serving a variety of coffee/non-coffee drinks, pastries and food menu items.
- Prepare the coffee shop environment by adequately completing opening and closing checklists
- Perform side work during downtime in order to maintain the cafe in full working order.
- Prepare foods, beverages and baked goods to serve customers to the standard trained
- Clean and maintain the desired environment adhering to AHS regulations
- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils and work areas
- Help in the roastery when required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour
