Warehouse Assistant
Skills and qualifications:

- organization skills. time management, hands-on, creative thinker
- works well independently and in a team environment
- Experience dealing directly with clients
- ability to adapt, think and respond quickly in a fast paced work environment
- 1-3 years. workshop experience. Knowledge with painting, small power tools and light machinery (drills, saws)
- 2-5 years logistics experience. Ability to drive cargo vans and cube trucks.
- valid drivers licence and safe driving record
- access to a vehicle that is roadworthy, reliable and suitable for client’s need
- Lifting requirements: movement of furniture and bulk items
- computer skills. proficient in spreadsheets, documents, mobile integration

**Job Description**:

- Expert in project/event preparation, implementation, and post. Leader in assisting deliveries and pickups. Leader in warehouse organization and workflow management.

Job Duties:

- through the leadership and guidance of the house manager, the assistant implements the logistics of deliveries and pickups of the event/project.

This includes but is not limited to; chandelier deliveries, furniture transportation, product outsourcing. They are required to bring all paperwork; packing slips and expense receipts to the operations director.
- responsible for prepping the cargo van and cube truck rentals. Picking up and returning rentals when required. Refueling prior to returning and keeping fuel receipts and rental documentation.
- through the leadership and guidance of the warehouse manager, The warehouse assistant implements the creative needs of the event/project. This includes but is not limited to; chandelier preparation, custom painting, custom buildables.
- Leader in warehouse workflow. Maintaining an organized work environment. Actively keeping shelving space efficient/organized, aisleways and loading dock clear, painting and building area’s ready for the next project.
- Maintain the toolbox to ensure all tools are clean, organized and readily available.
- Maintain the supply cabinet to ensure all supplies are put back. check stock levels and advise if reorder is necessary.
- Follow workplace health and safety policies and procedures; wear and use protective equipment required and work and act in a way that won't hurt themselves or others. Actively encourage a safe work environment and report any hazards to the president.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
