**YOUR NEW CHALLENGE**

We are looking for someone with a passion for hockey and team sports to join our team as a Product Manager. As a Product Manager, you will have a real impact on the success of our brands by developing strong positive relationships with our suppliers and providing effective sales and marketing tools to our sales team and retailers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
**Relations with suppliers and retailers**
- Define sales targets and the business plan to achieve them, including sales targets for key accounts and their follow-up
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure technical product expertise for your brands
- Work on market development strategies for the brands under your responsibility
- Constantly monitor market trends in terms of brands in order to seize growth opportunities through brand acquisition
- Attend supplier sales and product meetings and share your analysis of the Canadian market
- Monitor and manage the performance of the sales team and each territory in order to establish a strategy to achieve consistent growth in all territories
- Provide ongoing training to the sales team
- Maintain constant collaboration with our key accounts
- Maintain ongoing communication with customer service to ensure smooth order-taking and after-sales processes

**Purchasing and inventory management**
- Responsible for following the process from ordering to the supplier, to delivery to the customer
- Monitor and participate in the product creation in the system based on data provided by suppliers, and ensure that they are properly presented on our B2B and B2C platforms
- Order samples for our sales force
- Calculate the cost price of products, taking into account exchange rates and import costs
- Determine purchase quantities based on orders, purchases, budget and sales analyses
- Place orders with suppliers, manage delivery dates (ETA) and transfers between warehouses
- Check invoices and receipts for prices and quantities
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with sales team to ensure inventory and turnover targets are met
- Manage over stocks

**Marketing and product development**
- Carry out market analysis and benchmarking studies for its brands
- Participate in and lead the product development process, including by providing data on consumers and retailers trends and needs.
- Open up new markets
- Define product offer and price list
- Develop a business and marketing plan including initiatives (e.g. promotional material, sponsorships, advertising, events) and collaborate with sales and marketing teams for their implementation
- Obtain and organize marketing materials from suppliers
- Share product expertise with sales, customer service, marketing and retailers
- Attend customer presentations and trade shows
- Set up showrooms

**QUALITIES OF OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- 1-3 years' experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of the hockey industry
- Strong analytical skills
- Good level of database management with Excel
- Knowledge of SAP (an asset)
- Bilingual FR/EN
