We are in need of experienced class 1 drivers who are reliable and able to work 5 days a week with flexibility. **CLASS 1 DRIVERS - DAY SHIFT** **Main responsibilities**: - Pick and Drop freight. - Lumping - Daily, scheduled runs **Key Skills**: - Knowledge of the city - Organization - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written - Excellent paperwork skills **Requirements**: - Valid Class 1 - Clean 3 year Commercial Drivers abstract - Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver up to 150 lbs - Delivery Experience - 3 Years commercial driving experience - Proper PPE **Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Disability insurance - Extended health care - Life insurance - Vision care Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 12 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Application question(s): - Do you have any "at fault" claims in the past 3 years (in any type of vehicle)? - Do you have any major convictions such as distracted driving? - Are you over the age of 25? **Experience**: - Commercial driving: 3 years (required) - class 1: 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: - 3 year commercial driver's abstract (required) Work Location: In person
