**ONE Salon Apprentice/Assistant Needed at BRUSH Salon (Potentially at both locations)**

BRUSH Salon, located in two beautiful locations; vibrant Gastown as well as East Vancouver, is on the lookout for a Salon Apprentice/Assistant to join our innovative and welcoming team. We provide high-quality hair services and believe in fostering a collaborative atmosphere where stylists and clients together craft magical experiences.

**Position**: Salon Apprentice/Assistant
**Location**: Gastown and East Vancouver, Vancouver

**Job Type**: Permanent, Part-Time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Mix colour formulas and toners as per stylists' instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the salon.
- Manage salon upkeep tasks including dishes, laundry, and staff room cleaning.
- Professionally interact with clients, enhancing their service experience.
- Run errands as needed to support salon operations and stylists.

- Potential to advance to a Stylist role within the salon.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of a recognized hair program with certification, or currently obtaining certification.
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to thrive in a bustling environment.
- Positive, friendly, and proactive attitude.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Physically able to perform salon tasks and remain on feet for extended periods.

**Compensation**:

- Hourly wage plus 5% of the stylist's gratuity when working as their assistant.

Pay: $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 36 per week
