Stem/steam Programs Lead

Salary: $25 - $40 per hour depending on experience

Zen Maker Lab has been Canada's premier leader in STEM/STEAM programs for children and youth since 2013. We were one of the first children and youth focused maker labs in North America and have been known for our high-quality, innovative programs ever since.

Our mission is to inspire and empower the next generation of designers, makers and healthy and active citizens.

In this managerial role, you will be responsible for overseeing our Grade K-7 STEM/STEAM curriculum and delivering our innovative Zen Maker Academy and other programs at one of our future locations.

Responsibilities include:

- Overseeing our instructor team providing training and guidance
- Grades K-7 curriculum lead
- Delivering some of our Grades K-7 academy programs
- Interfacing with our engineering team on project kit product development and supplies
- Providing input into our learning management system

**Requirements**:

- Undergraduate degree in a STEM/STEAM field
- BC Teaching Certificate
- Teaching experience, ideally at an elementary school grade level
- Experience with curriculum development and instructional design
- Passion for learning and teaching and helping students
- Supervisory experience
