**What we seek**:
OCHC is currently seeking a dedicated Accounting Student, to work as part of a team that is responsible for the management of finances and business services. Under the guidance of the Manager, Accounting Services, the Accounting Student will assist with the delivery of services to a broad range of stakeholders including OCH staff and tenants, contractors, and suppliers.

**Accounting Student with OCHC**:_ _

Financial support for our tenants is a main priority at our organization. As the Accounting Student, **you will play a key role in ensuring funds are properly allocated, resulting in successful tenancies.**

**As an Accounting Student, some of the things you will do include**:

- Reviewing and analyzing tenant accounts (former tenants).
- Processing entries in the accounting system.
- Inputting the department’s file information into the corporation’s E-manage system and general filing.
- Financial analysis as required.
- Assisting with general accounting and other clerical duties as assigned.

**What you bring**:
**Qualifications and skills**:

- Completed a minimum of two (2) years of a Commerce or Business undergraduate degree or College diploma with a focus in Accounting.
- Previous experience in an office environment is an asset.
- Effective oral communication skills with courteous, efficient telephone manner.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.

**Language requirements**:

- Oral fluency, reading and writing abilities in English are essential.
- Oral fluency in French is an asset.

**Other requirements**:

- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Must be between 15-30 years of age.
- Satisfactory criminal records check.

**Work conditions**:
This is a full-time (35 hours per week) hybrid position.
