**This role is to start end of August**

**It's an hybrid position. You will have to come in office (downtown Montreal) once per week.**

**As a Financial Services Consultant**(FSC) you are a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, managing a pipeline of leads and showcasing the value Sun Life brings. The prospect of engaging members over the phone who are leaving their employer plans energizes you. The journey of uncovering a member’s needs and recommending Insurance solutions to satisfy those needs inspires you.

**Reporting to the Sales Manager, Client Solutions you will**:

- Receive **inbound calls** and transferred sales leads from Group Benefits (GB) members who are leaving their employer, and want to convert their health and dental, life insurance and/or critical illness policies
- Provide **phone consultation** to members who have insurance needs by reviewing their options and recommending solutions that are aligned to their needs
- Build expertise on our range of Insurance products
- Fulfill the requirements of all key strategic priorities i.e. multi-product selling and partnering with Sun Life’s Career Sales Force
- Resolve problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems
- Meet Quality Assurance Requirements and other key performance metrics
- Contribute to the Rollover Protection sales target by meeting or exceeding individual count and premium targets

**Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities**:

- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections
- Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment
- Must possess and professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phone.
- Must possess and be able to demonstrate strong influencing and closing skills.
- Ability to learn and navigate new software quickly

**What you bring to the table**:

- ** Valid and active Life Insurance License (A1)**
- Minimum 2 years of related sales and/or service experience (sales experience preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
