We thrive on passion and innovation and are looking for great people, with great ideas, who want to build the next big thing and develop while they do. **OVERVIEW**: At its core, the Strategic Sales & Analytics team is the engine that connects the dots, lights up the targets, develops and optimizes strategy to achieve the unthinkable and measure success. As part of the SS&A organization, the Category Analyst focuses on providing strategic support to the category manager, through analytics and proactive business insights. In this role, the Category Analyst will be responsible for crafting compelling sell-in stories, serve as the expert on Ninja's performance, market trends, competitors performance monitoring for assigned sub-categories and ensure Ninja is set to meet benchmarks at every account with each product. This is an excellent position for a highly motivated, team member who likes to work in a fast-paced environment and data driven atmosphere. **Core Responsibilities**: - Drive actionable reporting to power a winning strategy at each subcategory - Serve as the category expert internally, generating and presenting actionable insights on pricing, promotional impacts, product positioning, competitive landscape and market needs to develop comprehensive strategies - Manage and own communication of daily, weekly, monthly deliverables reporting on the overall health of the business - Identify category gaps/opportunities, craft sales stories with strategic recommendations that differentiate Ninja from competitors, helping to increase distribution, space and displays **Core Skills**: - Build partnerships, both internal and external facing, with customer service mindset - Ability to drive objective and action-oriented analytics - Innate curiosity and desire to find creative solutions - Act as the voice of the market and category **Education and Experience**: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience - 2+ years of relevant work experience within category management or sales analysis - Experience working for consumer goods company preferred - Demonstrated ability to multi-task and detail oriented, ensuring deadlines are met - Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment - Ability to present and calibrate on critical challenges to internal and external partners - Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Experience pulling and analyzing syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, NPD, GFK, etc.) - Advanced Microsoft Excel/ Office skills At SharkNinja, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are vital to our global success.
