This position supports the Catering Coordinator and all other areas of the banquet department inclusive of set ups and serving duties.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide ongoing support to the Catering Coordinator in all areas of event planning, set up and implementation.
- Answering guests' catering-related questions during events and addressing all complaints.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of Catering strategies to promote catering services.
- Assisting in all duties related to customer billing.
- Assist in site tour.
- Develop positive working relationships with existing customers for repeat business.
- Maintain contact with clients before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure ongoing communication with all departments on upcoming events that impact operations
- Office administrative duties including filing, processing billing and credit cards, fielding phone calls, and other clerical duties
- Work closely with the banquet and culinary departments to ensure smooth execution of events
- Assisting in all areas of implementation of events inclusive of set up, serving, clean up, providing excellent customer service to guests.
- Ability to serve at banquets and events.
- Flexibility to transition to different areas of banquet tasks as needed.

**Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in event planning and organization, in catering and / or hotel operations
- Strong administrative skills inclusive of Microsoft office.
- Flexibility to work various hours and in various areas of the banquet department.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Part time hours, 20 - 25 hours per week.
- Ability to lift 40lbs
- Pro-Serve required.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour
