**Automotive Detailing Manager**

Are you looking for a faced paced role where you will join our management team as a leader to support our staff, monitoring the efficiency of the shop operations, while supporting customers in the arrangement of service work through our shop. Our rapidly growing Lethbridge Truck Town Auto Spa department specializes in automotive detailing, reconditioning services, and automotive protection packages including PPF film and tint protection, windshield replacement, spray in box liners, undercoating, rust protection, polishing and paint correction, paint-less dent repair, ceramic and graphene coating and much much more

Lethbridge Truck Town is currently searching for an experienced, energetic, and team oriented individual to help lead our Auto Spa team in the role of **Automotive Detailing Manager.**

**Working closely with our General Manager, responsibilities and duties of this position would include but not necessarily be limited to the following**:

- Liaise, negotiate, and build relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers
- Schedule service appointments, ensure detailed documentation of service work required and properly communicate and gain approval by customers
- Ensure the best customer experience is created and that customer processes are followed, estimate costs and time required for all services, and identify and ensure that all customer dissatisfaction situations are proactively resolved
- Schedule service appointments. Prepare repair orders, obtain approval, account for all documents, process repair orders before submitting them to the warranty and accounting department.
- Organize, distribute, and supervise the workflow/operations of the detailing shop
- Remain actively aware of all work in progress in the shop, monitor and ensure all commitments made to staff and customers are realistic, attainable, properly communicated, delivered, and followed up on.
- Direct and schedule the activities of all service staff and technicians while monitoring hours relative to set expectations and ensure staff are fulfilling their obligations to their customers, job duties, and department processes.
- Supervise, motivate, support, coach, and develop direct reports to implement the company policies and achieve goals
- Understand, verify, and ensure compliance with warranty contract coverages.
- Monitor technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records.
- Monitor and follow up on parts orders.
- Maximize sales and profit while monitoring and minimizing expenses
- Accountable for the efficiencies and effectiveness of all Service Department processes
- Monitor safety and quality standards and develop improvement activities
- Liase with associated department and department leads e.g. detail shop supervisors, sales, parts, accounting, and finance
- Effectively maintain an adequate inventory of product, chemicals, and equipment while ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Miscellaneous supervisory and operational tasks and responsibilities as assigned and as on a needed basis by the General Manager/Controller of Lethbridge Truck Town.

**Qualifications and experience required for this role are as follows**:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of automotive detailing experience is essential.
- Works under pressure, meets deadlines, and utilizes effective time management skills
- Previous management/supervisory experience in a team environment is required and the ability to effectively lead, train, and mentor others is absolutely required. Previous experience in a significant leadership role in a complex/demanding work environment would be an asset. Having a collaborative and flexible leadership style while demonstrating ambition, initiative and decisiveness
- Communicates clearly and persuasively, and displays active listening skills.
- Strong planning, analytical and organizational skills with systematic and logical work style
- Effective problem solving and negotiation skills
- Positive, inclusive and encouraging attitude while seeking opportunities for improvement
