**Patient Lift Installer/Service Technician**

Lawtons Home Health Care is looking for a Patient Lift Installer/Service Technician to join our team in Dartmouth. This is an exciting opportunity to build a very rewarding career providing essential services for people with mobility limitations and daily living needs in your community.

The Patient Lift Installer/Service Technician is responsible to provide exceptional customer service through the provision of quality workmanship. Responsible for technical service and assembly of patient lift systems.

Customer Service
- Install patient lift systems in residential and institutional settings
- Manage ceiling lift repairs
- Ensure parts required for repair are in stock
- Ability to use mechanical tools (to repair and service lifts and related products)
- Perform custom modifications (assess, assemble and install)
- Share technical expertise with team and clients
- Provide technical support to field service technicians
- Perform annual inspections
- Other duties as assigned

Personal/Professional Development
- Adhere to all company health & safety guidelines, policies and regulations
- Attend all required training and certification courses
- Maintain required certification
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements
- Other duties as required

Job Requirements

Required:

- Mechanical aptitude and hand tool experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast environment
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and heights
- Must have a valid driver license and have a clean driving abstract
- Must be bondable
- Must be able to travel

Preferred:

- General labour, mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred
- Experience with health care equipment
- Experience working in healthcare or rehabilitation field
