Davina’s Swim House is seeking energetic, motivated, self-starting Aquatic Leadership Conductors to teach Swim Instructors, Lifesaving Instructors, and National Lifeguard courses within our growing swim school.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Plan and teach high quality and interactive leadership courses for all participants according to Lifesaving Society program must-sees
- Prepare instructional materials that meet a variety of learners needs
- Complete administrative duties in a timely manner (i.e. attendance, record progress, course documentation and test sheets)
- Maintain complete vigilance while on duty and ensure all safety and life guarding procedures are adhered to and, in the event of an emergency, respond as trained by the Association
- Enforce all rules and regulations and maintain order as a proactive approach to ensuring safety and accident prevention
- Set up and take down lane ropes and other equipment as required checking that equipment is safe and in good repair. Report immediately all malfunctions and remove the damaged equipment from circulation

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous experience teaching leadership courses (Instructors and/or National Lifeguard)
- Current National Lifeguard Award
- Current Standard First Aid Award
- Current Awards to teach and examine in desired stream (Instructors and/or NL)
- Current National Lifeguard Instructor & Examiner Awards
- Current Swim Instructor Trainer Award
- Current Lifesaving Instructor Trainer Award

**Hourly Wage**:
***Wage is dependent on the course taught
- Swim and/or Lifesaving Instructor: $36.00 per hour
- National Lifeguard: $34.00 per hour
