**“DZ” License Driver (“A” or “AR” an asset)** **"DZ” License Local Driver Needed (NOT LOOKING FOR HIGHWAY DRIVERS)** **DZ requirement. We do have a modified trailer that requires a modified A or AR License.** **- Handling / moving / transporting machinery or similar.** **- Loading and unloading Forklifts** **- Securing steel of all sizes, shafts, and Pipe** **- Loading and securing sectional parts of punch presses** **- Equipment and odd size’s of machinery** **- Drive standard transmission.** **You will be securing your own loads physically and must have experience in doing so.** **We are urgently hiring for a Truck Driver "DZ" license requirement (local Mostly)** **You will be representing BWM and would deal with customers professionally and courteously.** **Straight dayshift with operating hours from 8:00AM-4:30PM. **Overtime is available. And a part of our requirement at times. We are a Jobbing shop that serves breakdown customers when in need. Some OT will be required. - **Job description**_ You will be responsible for driving a designated vehicle to transport assets to and from customers ensuring safe loading and unloading of **equipment **and **machines** according to all governing legislations and company standards. This involves preparing equipment and machines to be shipped, loading and securing assets, and unloading at end destinations. - Drive assigned vehicle to transport materials mainly on local routes. - Transport Equipment and machinery to and from customers as assigned and provide proper paperwork in a courteous and timely manner. - Perform daily circle check on vehicle and communicate any need for preventative maintenance according to governing legislations and standards to company auto shop. - Safely maneuver vehicles into loading and unloading positions, check that vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned. - Also have experience in loading and unloading your truck manually or in using loading-related equipment. - Ensure that load is properly fastened down and secured. - Record and maintain required documentation including logbook, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, accident or incident reports, and bills of lading in accordance with applicable regulations. - Request proper documentation from customers. - Maintain confidentiality of all Customer, Supplier, and Company information - Ensure to work with / use security measures, procedures and devices as required. Necessary Qualifications & Abilities. Minimum High School graduate. 5 years (minimum) of experience in similar position preferred. Clean Driver’s Abstract. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Comfortable with detailed documentation and knowledge of Barrie and surrounding areas. Good communication and analytical/mathematical skills.
