**ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE**
This role reports to Kent Mullinix, ISFS Director.
**SUMMARY**
The research assistant will assist ISFS research associate(s) in all aspect of the research process including conducting literature review, analyzing data, and reports preparation.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conduct literature review
- Analyze primary and secondary data as required
- Prepare reports, briefs and communications as required
- Attend research team meetings and stakeholder meetings
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor degree in agriculture, policy studies, economics, geography or related fields
- Some awareness of British Columbia’s food systems
- Ability to think critically
- Strong sense of initiative
- Ability to effectively and independently manage time and produce high quality work within project deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as a team member
- Positive, professional and collaborative attitude and demeanor
**Salary Information**
$25 per hour
