**Position Title**: Formwork Site Foreman

**Term**: Fulltime

**Location**: Lower Mainland (Site Location)

**Availability**: Monday-Friday with overtime

Being a concrete formwork company, we specialize in the construction of high-rise buildings. Our structural formwork division is looking to hire an experienced ‘Formwork Site Foreman’ to join our team.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Adhere to layout responsibilities
- Read and understand blueprints
- Prioritize daily tasks for the formwork crew
- Schedule pours and inspections
- Check all formwork before concrete pours
- Order material as directed
- Work with gang panels
- Free forming vertical & slab elements
- Suspended slab assembly with multiple systems
- Safety Conscious
- Ability to build stairs
- Lead small teams

**Requirements/Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years of formwork experience
- Ability to beat and push schedules
- Ability to carry 50lbs
- Fall protection training is preferred
- Strong team player
- Motivated self-starter in a fast-paced working environment
- High attention to detail
- Able to interpret drawing exceptionally well
- Distinguish problems within drawings before encountered
- Extremely reliable
- Able to work early mornings and weekends when needed
- Effective verbal communication skills

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- reading construction drawings/blueprints: 3 years (preferred)
- formwork construction: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- BC Driver's license (preferred)

Work Location: One location
