Job duties:
Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures for the operations of the Front Office Team and the Reservations Team.

Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.

Participate in the development of pricing and promotional strategies.

Recruit and manage staff, oversee staff training, and set work schedules.

Resolve customer complaints.

Ultimately, the Front Office and Reservations Manager is responsible for the Front Office and Reservations Teams achieving and maintaining the highest level of service standards.

Terms of employment: Permanent; Full-time

The language of work: English

Wage: $29.00 per hour.

40-50 Hours per week

Skills requirements:
Required education:
Grade 12 (Secondary School) or equivalent

Completion of some hospitality industry post-secondary courses (certificates/diplomas) is preferred

Required work experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience at a supervisor or manager level in a similar type of hotel or resort

Customer service experience

Room forecasting experience

Budgeting experience

Yield / revenue management experience

Scheduling experience

Problem solving experience

Must be computer literate

Must be skilled at organizing

Must be skilled at prioritizing

Must be adept at handling business correspondence and communications, both written and verbal, including memos, reports, etc.

**Salary**: $29.00 per hour
