Position Overview

We're seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our night sanitation crew. This role is ideal for individuals seeking steady employment or a second job with consistent evening hours. No previous experience required - we provide comprehensive training

Position Details

Location: Calgary NE and SE (personal transportation required - no public transit access)

Schedule: 5 nights per week, 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM (occasional weekends as needed) - Schedule varies depending on facility.

Starting Rate: $19.00/hour

Positions Available: Both full-time and part-time opportunities

What You'll Do

As a vital member of our sanitation team, you'll ensure our facility meets strict food safety standards by:

- Washing, scrubbing, and sanitizing food processing equipment and machinery
- Cleaning production areas, including walls, floors, drains, and ceilings
- Maintaining the cleanliness of utensils, containers, and work surfaces
- Following detailed Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP)
- Operating industrial cleaning equipment, including water spray nozzles and hoses
- Working efficiently in refrigerated and wet environments

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

- Minimum one year of physical/manual labor experience
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks
- Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs and handle repetitive motions
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Availability for night shift work
- Reliable personal transportation
- WHIMS & First Aid certificates.
- Quick learner with strong work ethic
- Team player who take pride in their work
- Committed to maintaining food safety standards
- Looking for stable, long-term employment or consistent supplemental income
