Position Name: Logistics Co-Ordinator

**Job Overview**

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Logistics Coordinator/Scheduler is responsible for coordinating the logistics and tracking of all inbound and outbound shipments ensuring that proper and accurate documents have been prepared and that delivery schedules have been met.

**Responsibilities**
- Daily management of shipping requests including packing slips for product deliveries to customers, daily coordination of delivery slips and regular preparation of shipping documents and bill of landing documents
- Coordination and tracking of outbound & inbound shipments
- Daily review and maintenance of finished good inventory
- Generate system reports as required to support departmental objectives.
- Support audit and inventory activities as required
- Coordinate with Production Planning and review completed jobs for shipping schedule
- FG WH cycle count (the goal - monthly)
- Work closely with production department planning the production scheduling and shipping scheduling.
- Ensures product on-time arrivals by effectively collaborating with production scheduling to assure proper documents are available to facilitate shipping functions.
- Reviews shipping documentation with production department and sales for assigned orders and maintains accurate records of the transactions.
- Investigates and conducts root cause analysis and problem resolution for shipments in a timely manner.
- Tracks, analyzes, and communicates key performance metrics to reporting manager.
- Effectively coordinates operations between all modes of transport.
- Demonstrates proficiency in job duties by streamlining processes and procedures, follows standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and works cooperatively to provide quality customer support.
- During team member absences, fills in as needed to ensure that the additional workload is completed to ensure constant customer satisfaction.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned.

**Qualifications**
- College or University degree/diploma
- 2-3 years’ experience managing inventory in an ERP manufacturing environment, experience with D365 is an asset
- Previous experience with conducting monthly inventory/cycle counts
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing company
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi
- task and meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to communicate with all levels
- Proficient understanding of shipping & Logistics procedures
- Prior experience in logistics, shipping procedures and freight management required.
- Prior experience using ERP software.
- Experience working with MS Office Suite of products
- Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, methods, and computer equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions promptly and accurately.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of individuals.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Company employees, representatives of manufacturers, vendors or third parties, and customer representatives.
- Ability to work well under pressure and under stressful conditions.
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize and timely and satisfactorily complete many different tasks.
