We are looking for a reliable, experienced maintenance worker to join our team at the Best Western Plus Fernie Mountain Lodge.

This position involves varied work, especially season to season, which keeps the days interesting and provides a good level of job satisfaction for the right person.

Must have a positive attitude, self starter and team player

Strong attention to detail a must

Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving abilities

Proven maintenance experience

Able to work in a fast paced environment

Physically able to lift multiple heavy loads and shovel snow

Must speak, read and understand English

Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Previous experience with commercial swimming pools and hot tubs an asset

Higher wages will be offered to individuals with experience running a skid steer, a strong maintenance background and/or previous trade experience

**Job Types: Full-time, Permanent**
