With our continued growth, an opportunity exists for the right person to join us as an **Electronics Technician** What you will be doing In this role: - you will be responsible for the repair of production defects, maintaining test jigs on the crossover line and the Electronics Department - set up wave soldering machine for the Electronics Department - repair defects in PCBs that have been returned by customers and those at test stations What you should bring to this position: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in the electronics field (digital and analog circuits) - Post-secondary Education in Electronics Technology - Proven troubleshooting and problem solving skills - Experience with repair tools (soldering iron, hot air stations, etc.) and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers) - Experience with placement and removal of SMT components - Ability to interpret block diagrams and analyze complex electronic schematics - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Proven ability to organize, prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment with constant interruptions - Demonstrated ability to work independently; - confident with high level of integrity and trust - A "can do" attitude—passionate about quality and getting things “right” What's on offer - Full time position; core hours 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday - Competitive pay + benefits - Cool products and a great employee discount - Great place to work - love coming to work each day.
