Server/bartender

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Serve food in a timely and pleasant manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues in a restaurant setting.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 17.20 per week
