We’re searching for a motivated professional to plant their roots with us as a **Master Data Specialist. **In this role, you will report into the Manager IT, Master Data Management and strengthen the drive to improve the quality, accuracy and integrity of the master data program that will enable our success and allow us to open the world to cannabis. **As a Master Data Specialist, you will**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product innovation, marketing, procurement, and supply planning, to gather and validate product information, specifications, pricing, and other relevant data
- Work closely with the business to ensure data integrity, quality, and accuracy
- Analyze big data to identify patterns and trends and translate them into recommendations and solutions
- Conduct regular audits of the master data to identify and correct any errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies
- Create and maintain KPI metric reports and scorecards Create data cleansing templates to facilitate analysis and cleansing process
**You will be setup for success if you have**
- Post secondary education in Data Management or a related field **_(we would also welcome an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)_**:
- 3 + years of relevant work experience gathering, analyzing, cleansing, and interpreting data through Excel with ability to create macros (bonus points if you have Python experience)
- Familiarity with item master data management, bill of materials (BOM) structuring, and costing methodologies and ability to work with unstructured data Strong working knowledge of ERP concepts (Sage X3 a plus) and product data
- You are a strong communicator that** **can convey complex data in engaging formats through various channels for diverse audiences
- You are a strategic professional with an analytical mindset that can transform data into tangible strategies to improve processes and drive business value

- You are a natural navigator that can adapt quickly to changing priorities and demonstrate strong attention to detail when shifting to meet demands
