**Job Overview**

The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a key leadership role in the daily operations of The Wascana Country Club’s restaurant, express counter, and beverage cart services. With a passion for hospitality and a drive for continuous improvement, this position will help elevate our service standards and create unforgettable experiences for our members and guests.

This role is about more than just overseeing daily operations—it’s about inspiring a team to uphold the highest service standards and ensuring that every visit to the club leaves a lasting impression. From ensuring smooth and efficient restaurant service to supporting golf tournaments and special events, the Food & Beverage Supervisor is a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Daily Operations & Service Supervision**
- Lead front-of-house operations for the restaurant, express counter, and beverage cart to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor, actively assisting staff and addressing member and guest needs.
- Monitor service standards, ensuring consistency in food quality, presentation, and customer service.
- Handle any guest concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure staff adhere to club policies, health and safety regulations, and liquor laws.

**Staff Supervision & Training**
- Support the Food & Beverage Manager in scheduling, training, and coaching service staff.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily specials, service notes, and important updates.
- Provide on-the-spot coaching and guidance to improve team performance.
- Assist in onboarding new hires and reinforcing club service standards.

**Golf Tournaments & Special Events**
- Assist in coordinating food and beverage logistics for golf tournaments and special events, ensuring seamless execution.
- Work with the kitchen and events team to maintain efficient service during peak times.
- Oversee food and drink service on the course, including beverage cart operations.
- Ensure events are set up according to club standards and that post-event breakdowns are completed efficiently.

**Inventory & Cost Control**
- Monitor stock levels for beverages, supplies, and disposables, ensuring availability and proper storage.
- Assist with inventory counts and ordering to minimize waste and control costs.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to maintain product quality and manage deliveries.

**Administrative & Other Duties**
- Assist with daily cash handling, tip distribution, and end-of-day reconciliation.
- Support menu and service improvements by providing member and guest feedback to management.
- Enforce club policies related to uniforms, appearance, and conduct.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all service areas.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a restaurant, hotel, or club setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of liquor laws and responsible service practices.
- Experience with POS systems and basic cash handling.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Smart Serve or equivalent certification preferred.
