We are looking for an energetic and passionate plant enthusiast who is customer service focused and enjoys sharing their knowledge with others This role would have you managing the tropical plant department within the garden centre.

**Overview of role**:

- Building sales and supporting the GARDENWORKS Brand by providing outstanding guest service
- Ordering indoor tropical plants - managing the inventory flow by anticipating need, ordering the right mix, and ensuring the space always looks full and inspiring
- Receiving, pricing & ongoing plant maintenance - we only sell high quality, healthy plants
- Sharing your plant knowledge - informing customers about plant care, the light requirements, how often to water - setting them up for success
- Working with the team creating inspiring displays, managing product placement that is reflective of trend and supports brand messaging

- A good knowledge base for tropical plants
- A creative ability to visually showcase plants and home decor together to inspire our guests

- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends, and holidays - you’re available to work when our guests’ shop
- Positions within the garden centre require extended periods of walking and standing, as well as the ability to perform some lifting

**Job Type: Full time 32 hours per week - weekends required**
**Salary: $21.00 - 23.00 per hour**
