Requires a Permanent Full-Time Journeyman Plumber / Gasfitter This position is covered by the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Collective Agreement. Applications are invited for a Permanent Full-Time Journeyman Plumber 40 hours per week. Start date will be determined upon hiring the successful candidate. Under the general supervision of the Director of Maintenance and Facilities, the Tradesmen work collaboratively to ensure the safe, efficient, and comfortable operations of the schools and facilities located in Rocky Mountain House, Caroline, Condor, Leslieville, Drayton Valley and Breton.
The preferred candidate will be able to work both independently or as part of a crew dealing with multiple work orders and priorities. The successful candidate will possess good public relations and communication skills. Other benefits inclusive to the position are participation in a defined registered Pension Plan administered by Alberta Pensions, and a Health Spending Account. Pay range is $37.57- $40.36 per hour. The successful candidate will be required to provide evidence of Plumbing/ Gasfitter certification, current summary of driving record, and satisfactory and current (within six months) Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector as conditions of employment.
