Maxx North America Services Ltd. is looking for General Labourers to start immediately in our Pipeline Integrity Division, various locations across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and BC.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently perform assigned tasks on the labour crew to support pipeline maintenance operations
- Provide general labour across various activities to fulfill project requirements at different worksites
- Monitor and maintain the work area
- Ensure work tasks are completed within assigned deadlines
- Attend and participate in the morning Management Safety and Process meetings
- Adhere to all company policies, safety programs and procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma preferred
- 1- 2 years of previous labour experience in the pipeline industry
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) and working knowledge of English language
- Positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to learn fast
- Must be capable of lifting to 50lbs
- Must be able to work under mínimal supervision
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment and pre-access drug and alcohol test
- Must have and maintain a class 5 driver’s (Non GDL) license
- Must complete safety training such as CSTS20, First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance WHMIS, etc.
Work Conditions:
- Must be able to work in various locations across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and BC
- Must be flexible to work rotating shifts
- Must be able to work out of town
- Must have reliable transportation to get to worksite
- Flexibility to work overtime on weekends as required to meet client requirements
- Must be able to work outside in various climate conditions
- Living Out Allowance is provided
