**About the role**
- The Facility Manager is the prime point of contact for a Lockheed Martin site or group of sites within one city. They are responsible for general maintenance of the building, and act as the on-site liaison between the service trades and Lockheed. They coordinate repair work, monitor building systems, address staff tickets and complaints, and ensure the environment for staff is as pleasant as we can make it. They schedule and manage location-support contractors (cleaners, plumbers, fire technicians, etc) as needed for the building. Manages seating and hotel allocation through the corporate building management system. Reviews and inspects work done by contractors.
- This role provides primary support for the MATTS site, with secondary support for all other Lockheed locations in the HRM. The role is highly visible and will contribute to the overall positive working environment at Lockheed Martin Canada.
- The role has the support of the extended Lockheed Martin Canada administrative, security, and ESH teams. It is a fully on-site position.

**What you bring to the role**
- Organized, detail oriented, and possessing a natural customer focus
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in CAD systems (floor plans, drawings, building layouts)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Financial responsibility
- Ability to project manage small teams and drive contractors to completion
- NATO Secret and Controlled Goods clearance required

**Additional skills desired for the role**
- Bilingual is an asset
- Emergency management. Ability to remain calm in situations requiring quick action
- Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and building automation systems
- Knowledge of building and construction codes
- Highly dependable and thorough
- Ability to work well with mínimal supervision
