**Maintenance Supervisor**

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Supervises all aspects of the Maintenance Department.
- Performs repair, maintenance, modification, and installation activities.
- Complies with all Health and Safety programs in accordance with OSHA. Ensures company Health and Safety Program is followed.
- Maintains good repair and safety standards of tools, machinery, equipment and shop and office areas.
- Works directly with production supervisors to monitor and or address issues and provide solutions to support production team members.
- Responsible for preventative and predictive maintenance planning.
- Executes daily/weekly/monthly PM assignments, does follow-up and monitors PM schedule.
- Assists in the creation of procedures which support improvements in Safety, Efficiencies, Quality and Cost.
- Working with the purchasing department, orders materials required for maintenance related activities.
- Assigns and supervises competent external trades.

**Qualifications and educational requirements**:

- Minimum 10 years of related work experience in manufacturing operations with minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Proven analytical and diagnosis skills with excellent attention to detail
- Superior time management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in an environment with a variable workload (flexible hours).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance systems (Preventive Maintenance, etc.).
- Must be able to interact effectively and lead other team members.
- Post secondary education in a related field is preferred
