**Power BI & Microsoft Fabric Architecture Specialist**

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable Power BI and Fabric-aligned data architectures
- Develop governance frameworks, policies, and best practices tailored to Fabric environments
- Establish data security, access controls, and workspace strategies within Fabric
- Optimize performance, monitoring, and lifecycle management of datasets, semantic models, and pipelines
- Collaborate with BI, data engineering, and cloud teams to ensure cohesive adoption of Fabric services
- Provide guidance on migration strategies from legacy architectures to Fabric infrastructure
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and upskill internal teams on Fabric capabilities
- Ensure compliance with enterprise data standards while enabling innovation in analytics

**Required Skills & Experience**
- Proven expertise in Power BI enterprise architecture and governance
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric services including:

- OneLake, Direct Lake, Lakehouse, and Warehouse
- Data pipelines and semantic model management
- Strong understanding of security, lineage, and workspace governance in Fabric
- Experience creating center-of-excellence (CoE) models for BI and self-service analytics
- Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills

**Nice to Have**
- Microsoft certifications in Power BI and/or Fabric
- Experience in cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Snowflake
- Background supporting enterprise analytics modernization initiatives
