**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about our products and services, and making product recommendations.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, organizing displays, and keeping the store clean and presentable.
- Accurately pick and pack products for online orders
- Ensure accuracy of online orders by verifying product availability, selecting the correct items, and packaging orders carefully.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of products
- Coordinate with third party couriers to ensure packages are picked up and delivered on time
- Manage and update product information on our online store

**Qualifications**:

- Passion for pets and knowledge of pet food and supply products
- Previous experience in customer service and sales preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Comfortable with technology and ability to learn new software systems
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (or Cantonese) required

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour

Day range:

- Monday to Friday

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Shift:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Markham, ON L6C 0X7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Chinese (required)
