As a bartender at St. Louis Bar and Grill, you affect our guests’ view of our establishment every time you interact with them. In order to foster regular clientele, consistency in quality, presentation and service is essential. It is our goal to ensure our guests have their expectations exceeded each and every time they walk through our door.

As a bartender, you have been hired for the purpose of not only serving our guests but entertaining them. Your main duties include preparing drinks for wait staff and guests, maintaining proper inventory and proper portion control and also serving any tables within the bar area. You must adhere to the “smart alcohol service” policies and guidelines as well as new COVID-19 sanitation measures.

Total guest satisfaction is the primary goal of each member of the St. Louis team. In order to reach this goal, a combination of teamwork and organization is necessary. This is shown through the ability of the staff to coordinate and organize itself effectively.

**Bartender Daily Duties**
As a bartender, you have been hired for the purpose of not only serving our guests but entertaining them. Your main duties include:

- Carrying out Devilishly Good Service
- Establishing a fantastic guest connection with each and every guest
- Correctly entering guests’ orders into the POS system
- Understanding and being able to communicate all aspects of the menu
- Ensuring the St. Louis standard operating procedures are being executed correctly
- Creating a Guest First Energetic atmosphere - lights, blinds, music, TV’s, cleanliness
- Washroom checks every twenty minutes
- Answering phones within 2 - 3 rings and handling inquiries appropriately
- Following proper take-out etiquette
- Key holder (location dependent)
- Promptly prepare drinks for team members orders and guests
- Preparing the bar for service, including all mixes, garnishes, glassware, supplies
- Ensuring all products behind the bar are being kept out of the danger zone and held in proper containers
- Maintaining proper inventory
- Recording daily beer counts
- Changing kegs
- Serving any tables within the bar area
- Monitoring guest behavior
- Adhere to the “smart alcohol service” policies and guidelines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 5-35 per week

**Salary**: $16.75-$18.00 per hour
