**Position summary**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Able to work outdoors for long periods
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Lift a maximum of 15 pounds
- Must posses a phone with data
- Superior customer service skills and the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Must be dependable, available, physically fit, and have good character

**Responsibilities**:

- Working in a team of two, the Area Safety Ambassador will be responsible for the Eglinton and Yonge intersection greeting and directing pedestrians safely around the construction intersection
- Coordinating the flow of pedestrians across selected intersection
- Be proactive in situations and communicate effectively with your team while ensuring the safety of everyone around you
- Determine timing for safe entry into the flow of traffic
- Report and document any problems as they arise
- Must be punctual and stay for the entire scheduled shift time
- Wear and maintain company uniform, promoting our professional standard

**Hours**

Mondays - Fridays

12:45 pm - 7 pm (6.25 hours)

**Location**:
Eglinton and Yonge

Contract length: 4 months
