**Shop Parts Inventory Clerk**

**Job Summary**: Working in a heavy equipment mechanic shop, the Shop Parts Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and ensuring that all products are properly stored and accounted for. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

**Duties of position**:

- be a team player, work clean and professional
- able to work with little supervision
- possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- use computer skills and truck repair experience to order the proper parts/inventory needed
- place daily parts orders and match purchase orders with invoices
- routinely process, count and maintain necessary inventory quantities in stock
- must be thorough and accurate in maintaining & recording inventory usage
- report discrepancies between physical counts and recorded counts
- handle any warranty returns and parts replacement
- develop and improve inventory management procedures
- conduct periodic inventory counts
- be willing and able to work inside shop & outside in various weather conditions
- be hands on and be mechanically inclined
- able to lift upto 50lbs and walk up/down stairs
- must maintain a clean and current drivers’ license
- other related tasks as assigned

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
