**Qualifications**:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid veterinary license to practice in Ontario, Canada
- Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases efficiently
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Perform comprehensive physical exams and develop diagnostic and treatment plans tailored to each patient
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pet’s health, treatment options, and ongoing care
- Interpret diagnostic tests including bloodwork, radiographs, urinalysis, etc.
- Perform surgical and dental procedures, or be willing to develop these skills with support
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical records
- Collaborate with support staff and fellow veterinarians to ensure a high standard of care and efficiency
- Contribute to and support a positive, team-oriented clinic culture
- Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and advancements in veterinary medicine
- Participate in developing and refining clinic protocols and services as we grow
- Uphold and promote the clinic’s values of compassion, professionalism, and excellence
