Position Overview*

Mi9 Retail is seeking an experienced Technical Consultant to make a positive impact on our enterprise clients as part of our Professional Services team. The Technical Consultant will be responsible for the data take-on, migration, transformation, and integrations while implementing our products for our clients. It is a permanent full-time work-from-home position.

**What you will be doing**:

- Be a part of our collaborative team implementing our software for enterprise clients
- Participate in the design and discovery of integration requirements
- Present data specification documents to guide client technical teams in creating interfaces with Mi9 Retail products
- Develop robust and performant Microsoft SQL Server Transact-SQL code
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior staff
- Effectively collaborate with Project Managers to align on goals and timelines
- Create high-quality documents such as system schematics, design documents, estimates, data mapping, and process documentation as needed for each project
- Support user acceptance testing by investigating and resolving defects with urgency
- Provide initial high-touch post-go-live support and subsequently train our support staff
- Foster productive cross-functional relationships with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure success for our customers

**What you bring to the table**:

- Superior attention to detail and focus on task completion to the requirement
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal as well as excellent interpersonal skills
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Enterprise software experience - working for a software company or implementing a major software package as a consultant or as a client
- Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server & T-SQL (min 2 years of hands-on work)
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- A demonstrated dedication to continuous learning
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel to client sites in US and Canada
- Retail software and business knowledge are highly valued
