We are looking to add a **Security** **Project Manager** to our team, local to Thunder Bay, Ontario or willing to relocate.

**Locations**: Gold Mines and Energy Projects, Northern Ontario**

**Responsibilities**:

- Report directly to Synterra’s Operations Manager
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures
- Assist with site budgets for security operations and monitor expenses at site
- Recruit, train and supervise and schedule security officers and guards
- Promote Synterra’s Open Door policy
- Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
- Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events over and above site security requirements.
- Review reports on incidents and breaches
- Investigate and resolve issues with staff
- Create reports for management on security status
- Provide weekly master timesheets for guards at each site for invoicing purposes
- Work with clients to ensure expectations are met and exceeded
- Weekly meetings with clients to ensure clear lines of communication
- Weekly meetings with site supervisors
- Ensuring the maintenance of security vehicles and equipment is up to date
- Site visits and inspections

***Requirements and Skills**:

- Minimum 5 years security experience
- Minimum 2 years Security Supervisory/Management Experience
- Full Ontario G Driver’s license
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Valid Ontario First Aid/CPR certificate
- Obtain Advanced First Aid within 1st year of employment
- Willing to travel up to two weeks at a time and willing to fly
- Proven experience as security manager or similar position
- Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g., CCTV)
- Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
- Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Committed and reliable

**Salary**:
$50000.00 annually to start + benefits and company vehicle
