- Responsibilities section:

- Functions of the Assembly Technician will include, but not be limited to:
**Assembly**
- Adhere to work orders and work instructions
- Preparatory work, including tools, fixtures, test equipment
- Produce subassemblies to specification and test measures
- Testing and troubleshooting of components, assemblies and products
- Inspection and repair of components, sub-assemblies and products

**Administration**
- Complete all checklists/records/reports as required for traceability
- CRM reporting
- ERP reporting
- Quality Audit checklists

**Logistics**
- Assist with the receiving and put away of all incoming materials
- Assist with packaging of products and systems
- Requirements section:

- Grade 12 minimum, preferred diploma in Electronics / Electromechanical / Optics technology.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to interpret assembly procedures, wiring diagrams and drawings.
- Ability to document and record test results and report daily labor and material consumptions.
- Demonstrated ability to use tools, fixtures, and test equipment.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs occasionally, to shoulder height.
- Safety conscious.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
