**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the espresso machine and other coffee equipment efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
- Assist with food handling and preparation as needed, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is Required
- Excellent knowledge of espresso beverages and espresso machine use
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and menu offerings.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a barista
