**TITLE**:In-House**Educator **STATUS**:Full-Time 1.0

In-house Educator, working as integral members of the Education Services team, will participate in the
development and delivery of educational opportunities for The Bethany Group organization and specifically
for Continuing Care sites. The In-house Educator will develop and deliver current and comprehensive learning
opportunities to meet all learning needs. The In-house Educator must have an active LPN license with CLPNA.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
(Education; Experience/Training; Knowledge; Licenses/Certificates; Membership Requirements)
- A Licenced Practical Nurse Graduate of a qualified school of nursing or other professional educational

institution
- In good standing with the College of Licenced Practical Nurses (CLPNA)
- Knowledge and experience in design and development of curriculum is required
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience as an Educator in a clinical environment (preferably with geriatric
- populations with a focus in dementia care)
- A valid driver’s licence

preferred

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Strong ability to research, plan, develop, implement, revise, evaluate curriculum in best practices, legislation
and behaviour management education
- Understands learner needs and uses adult-learning best practices to develop instructional materials and

medias
- Coordinates and conducts education programs
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in teaching and mentoring
