The VP, Treasury and Capital Markets will join the BNRE Finance team and will report into the Senior Vice President, Finance. The Director will be responsible for supporting BNRE's corporate capital markets and treasury operations, including cash & liquidity management, financing and capital markets activity, debt portfolio oversight, and credit rating agency engagement. The Director will work across all levels of the BNRE organization, with primary oversight of the public entity and the strong support provided to portfolio companies. The Director will interact with various internal and external stakeholders, including Brookfield's finance and operations teams, portfolio company management and maintain relationships with outside service providers (banks, lenders, legal counsel, and credit rating agencies). **Primary Responsibilities**: - Monitor corporate liquidity and prepare weekly consolidated liquidity reporting to Senior Management - Support external financing activities for the consolidated group of public entities, including subsidiaries, in debt and equity capital markets transactions - Support quarterly and year-end financial reporting of corporate finance activities including debt compliance - Monitor debt portfolio including covenants, and support portfolio companies to effectively managing liquidity risk - Review and provide covenant compliance packages to lenders and maintain relationships with commercial banks - Support credit rating processes for the company and its subsidiaries and perform ad-hoc credit rating analyses - Quarterly financial risk management reporting to senior management, including but not limited to, monitoring and reporting on capital planning, investment and liability liquidity forecasting, debt maturities and covenants, and hedging activity to Senior Management - Support ad hoc projects, such as treasury system implementations - Continuously look for efficiency in our processes, tools and reports and make suggestions to implement these into our framework. - Oversee junior team members, including treasury and capital markets analysts - Build strong relationships with financial reporting, legal, investments, and M&A team members contacts across the organization and within our operating companies, and with Treasury and Capital markets counterparts across the broader Brookfield group **Qualifications & Requirements**: - Degree in finance, accounting or related business discipline - Completed CPA, CFA or related finance designation - Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance (accounting, treasury, corporate finance, capital markets) - In-depth understanding of and ability to analyze cash & liquidity needs and knowledge of derivative products including their accounting implications - Strong Excel skills with ability to manage and analyze datasets and optimize processes - Analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to assess complex situations and make effective recommendations - Excellent organizational skills and capability to effectively manage priorities while meeting timelines - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of working with individuals across various levels and backgrounds - Demonstrates a commitment to shared success above personal accomplishment or recognition Brookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.
