**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist in training needs and train as required
- Ensures all workers adhere to Food Safety, SOP's and Policies & Procedures
- Assists in crop inspection; removes and informs regarding substandard or diseased plants to maintain quality standards
- Conduct regular inspections of plants to identify pests or diseases and take appropriate action.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed during planting, maintenance, and harvesting activities.
- Keep accurate records of crop progress, including growth rates and yields, using basic math skills for calculations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective growing strategies and improve overall production efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in farming is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and farm machinery is considered an asset.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday.
- Basic math skills for record-keeping and calculations related to crop management.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in an outdoor environment.

**Abilities Considered an Asset**:

- Knowledge and previous use with Priva
- Ability to communicate effectively in English & Spanish
- Forklift license and experience

**Work Environment**:

- Available to work flexible hours including regular Saturdays
- Conditions typically found in a greenhouse with high humidity and varying temperatures
- Exerting from 15 - 50 lbs. of force occasionally, 20 lbs. of force frequently and 10 lbs. of force constantly in order to lift and move product
