**Job description**

Boreal Solutions LP is seeking a responsible full-time Warehouse / Driver to work at our Thunder Bay location. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- **Qualifications**:_

The successful applicant should possess the following knowledge, skills and/or certificate(s):

- High school diploma or GED
- Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively
- Able to lift approximately 50 pounds
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certification
- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Eligibility for bonding and a clear Criminal Background Check
- Willingness to learn
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Able to deal with people tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times
- Exhibit initiative, responsibility and flexibility
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies and forklift
- Must have a valid G license with a clean Driver’s abstract
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
- Basic computer literacy
- Able to travel
- **Role and Responsibilities**:_

The Warehouse Associate/ Driver is to:

- Prepare receiving dock to accept incoming product.
- Prepare materials for shipment.
- Match incoming and outgoing product with purchase orders.
- Verify product expiration codes.
- Inspect product to ensure saleable condition with acceptable code dating.
- Operate a Forklift or Pallet Jack in a safe manner to move product.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following our policies, procedures and safety regulations.
- Lift cases of product and/or stock merchandise according to documented procedures.
- Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
- Create a daily shipment schedule.
- Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries.
- Track shipments and verify receipts of shipments as required.
- Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Sort and distribute incoming shipments.
- Perform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off.
- Report/ problem solve discrepancies, missing documents, shipments and deliveries with supervisor.
- Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if there are multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete.
- Make deliveries with a company vehicle both in and out of town.
- Provide counter help and answer warehouse phone.
- Perform other duties as assigned by lead hand.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (required)
